I've resolved this issue after 2 tries of manually unpacking the EVE installation executable. I'm not sure what was causing issues but at least I'm once again venturing the universe. Cheers to all for a great new year _____________________________...

Initially I was just trying to patch eve up to dominion while claiming the 5 free days on the account. However, in the updating process I began running out of drive space in my C: temp folder (it's installed on another HD though)then I got an erro...
